Abstract

Virtual infrastructure is now regarded as a mature technology, and the benefits are equally evident in improving service availability and cost reduction. This presentation specifically addresses improvements in the high availability facet of disaster recovery, where using virtual infrastructure can present an architect with many effective and low-cost options.

Presenter Biography

Simon has spent the last six years working as a technical architect in the City of London, noteably with British Telecom and the Bank of England, and co-chaired the reputable London VMware User Group. He now works as an architect for Technical Architecture Solutions, headquartered in Sydney.
