What do you get if you mix about 50 geeks, some food, alcohol and a bunch of toys? - a SAGE-AU Trivia Night of course.
This years trivia night was again a great success, with auctions and cheat-calling ringing out. A chance to prove your visual trivia skills with movie freeze frames and more Google earth oddities.
Pete Calvert and John Stern did a fantastic job of running the night this year, keeping up with scoring and the needy nerds. Here's a shot of the guys hard at work.
A varied jackpot of prizes and auction items up for grabs this year, the big contenders where an Apple 2gb iPod Nano, and a pair of 25CAL Windows Server 2003 R2 packs. There was also some Vista upgrade packs, a couple of bottles of red wine and a wireless mouse.
Randal Schwartz had the team at the "Free at Last" table drooling over his new Apple iPhone. It's great to actually see one and hold it, and yes they really are that good.
