Getting your resume to stand out from the crowd
The current IT job market is the most buoyant it's been in years, offering greater opportunities for well paid, career enhancing contract and permanent work.
However, it still holds true that a resume will often be vetted by as many as three or four people (e.g. administration, resourcer, consultant and HR) before it finally lands in the hands of the client company's recruiting manager. Therefore, if you want to maximise the chances of securing an interview for your 'dream job' it's essential, not just to make sure that your resume is well written, concise, and relevant, but that it is also 'tailored' for each role applied for.
In this presentation, it's our aim to offer some simple advice as to how you can make sure that your resume is noticed, and, therefore, significantly increase your chances of getting the job you want!
