What better way to enjoy System Administrator appreciation day, than by winding up the 15th Australian System Administrators' Conference.
With the AGM over, the Exec for this term elected, Friday's presentations rounded out the week perfectly.

First up was Paul Fenwick with An Illustrated History of Failure which talked about some of the financial impacts of human mistakes.
Jeff Alexander from Microsoft showed off some of the emerging features expected in Windows Server 2008. Demo's of the PowerShell and ServerCore platform where of interest.
Randal recounted his life changing experiences with A Modern Fable in SysAdmin Ethics.
Finally, Simon Hackett from Internode finished the day with another look into the current play of Broadband in Australia. Highlighting some of the obstacles and challenges that ISP's face in provided decent services to the public.
