The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Proudman as Executive Officer for SAGE-AU.

Simon has worked for IBM in the UK, in New Technologies and Consultancy, and for American Power Conversion (APC) in Australia where he established their IT operations in the Asia Pacific. Recently Simon has been involved in Pacific Island development projects, in particular working for the Asian Development Bank setting up the IT infrastructure and systems for the Pacific Aviation Safety Office (PASO), the aviation safety organisation for the ten Pacific island countries, in Vanuatu.

Simon will be working with the Executive committee to improve the running of the organisation and focus on implementing strategic objectives to further develop SAGE-AU for its members.
