Restaurants
Hobart has a wealth of excellent eating establishments, and with its seafaring tradition it is no surprise that there is very fresh and tasty local produce served.
Some great restaurants include:
Mures - on Victoria dock. Both a fishmonger and a restaurant, and always packed out.
Floating takeaway stalls - on Constitution dock. Take tour pick from Sushi to Wahoo and chips from the stalls moored here.
Fish Frenzy - at Elizabeth St Pier. A newcomer, but becoming very popular.
The Drunken Admiral - at the Old Wharf. Great name and great food to boot. Service can be a bit slow on popular nights.
Bar Celona - Salamanca Place. A combined wine bar and cafe. Tasty fare served with a great selection of Tasmanian wine.
